This is an antique Doulton Burslem porcelain plate featuring floral decoration in its centre with acanthus leaves scrolling the edge. The flowers are outlined with raised gold metallic paint. The plate measures 9 1/4 in diameter and has a height of 1 at the edge. It is marked on the underside with the crowned Doulton Burslem England mark with Rd No 97,184 - that registry number dates to 1888. It is also by the artists monogram, which appears to be an R within an R, and the model number C3674. It is in very good condition with no cracks, chips or wear, but there is a black felt marker mark in the centre of the plate. I tried to remove the mark but it appears to be underglaze. In any case, the plate is being sold as is, and still displays beautifully.
